Jason Reinders

Reinders Sensei began his martial arts journey at the age of 8, training in Ninjutsu under Robert Bussey through Warrior International. He continued his early training with Mr. Joeben and Master Bussey until the age of 12.

At 14, he transitioned into Judo at Omaha Burke High School, where he trained under Dr. Delo Lee Jr.. Judo was offered as part of the school’s physical education program, providing a strong foundation for his development in the art.

On February 6, 1997, Reinders Sensei earned his Shodan (1st Degree Black Belt). He continued to train diligently while also serving as an assistant instructor. Following Lee Sensei’s retirement in 1999, Reinders Sensei opened his first dojo and was mentored by Phil Porter.

Today, Reinders Sensei holds the rank of Rokudan (6th Degree Black Belt), is an International Coach under USA Judo, and was inducted into the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2007.
